Vegetable Pilaf

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rice
  • Mixed vegetables
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 3 tablespoons orzo pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • Instructions:
    • 1- Soak the rice in warm salted water for 10 minutes, then drain.
    • 2- Heat the oil and butter in a pot, sauté the orzo pasta.
    • 3- Add the rice and continue sautéing. Add salt, mixed vegetables, and hot water.
    • 4- Cover and cook on low heat until done, then let it rest before serving.
